ACCU Institutions Receive 2024 Uniservitate Global Service-Learning Awards Washington, DC—The Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Uniservitate Global Service-Learning Awards for the North American region. These awards, distributed in seven regions globally, are given in recognition of service-learning experiences in Catholic Higher Education. Based on the assertion of the global impact on education through service, the selection of the winning experiences involves a rigorous process with multiple stages and diverse panels of judges. This year’s winning institutions and programs for the North American region are: First Prize Winners Sacred Heart University: "Uniting Heart Initiative" St. Catherine University: "Welcoming the Dear Neighbor" Honorable Mentions Emmanuel College: "Essential Values of Diversity, Multiculturalism, and Social Justice Program" University of Dayton: "The Health Equity Fellows" Organized biennially, first prize award recipients receive a cash award along with the opportunity to participate in the Uniservitate Global Symposium in November in Rome, Italy.
